Google Maps for walking, finally!
Google Maps is a useful tool for planning all sorts of trips but their 'directions' function was limited to regular traffic (cars or motorcycles) only. Now Google has released their (BETA of course) version of directions for walking.

Well, cool. So you could put the coordinates into Google Earth, maybe? Just to see if you path crosses over the sewage plant or something. Google may be painted as the bad guy someday, but they sure provide a lot of interesting and useful tools.

I think you can put it into Google Earth and vice versa but this was done with Google Maps only.
Yeah, if you see what you make with Google maps if you create a personal map, after logging in, it's quite amazing. You can add descriptions, links, pictures, lots of stuff.
