Dutch Anti-Islam Politician Makes Movie About Himself
world doesn't give a shit
The Dutch anti-Islam politician Geert Wilders has released a movie about himself called 'Fitna' which could be translated as 'chaos'. How appropriate. It was directed, produced and written by Geert Wilders and lasts a little more then a whopping 16 minutes. It's also quite boring.
Follow up:
The long anticipated movie, a cut and paste job from images that can be found anywhere on the internet has failed get much of a reaction other then "is this it?". Apart from the usual protests from the kind of people that would get just as angry if the movie showed Laurel and Hardy nobody really seems to care.
In the movie clips from the 911 attacks and other war imagery are shown together with texts from the Qur'an conveniently without the context. Wilders also fails to correctly identify the only real Muslim extremist this country has (Muhammed B.) by showing a picture of a musician instead.
To complete the fiasco Wilders will now get sued for using the infamous Danish cartoons without permission.
Geert Wilders has managed to do what few people thought would be possible: to make himself look even more ridiculous.
I do wonder though, if the targeted community's reaction was something like 'lame', what would the few (yet very vocal) supporters of Geert Wilders feel?
Disappointed?
Silly?
Irrelevant?

And being sued by the Danes? That is rich. Not that he can't say what he wants, but....er....sounds like he didn't have a lot to say. I mean not that hasn't already been said. Just like those recent Iraq war movies that flopped. Total box office of about 1 hour's filming cost. How about some new ideas, folks? I mean like sex or outer space or something.
